About Me

open-minded, easy-going, positive
After a long winter in the library I'm currently taking the summer off for traveling, to discover new beautiful places, meeting interesting people and relaxing before I want to get a real job :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of hosting or being a guest in exchange of none monetary things. Those are way more interesting. And of course it's the best way to discover a place you don't know through a locals eyes.

Interests

I love spending time with nice people, just chatting, maybe with a beer or wine, cooking together and just enjoying time in company.
Since I work in a club I am also always interested in discovering new nightlife scenes.
I think it's the best way to discover a place by foot. That's how one can discover the most interesting spots. But I also love to bike.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love different kinds of music. Preferably electronic, but sometimes classic for example is also very relaxing. On my current playlist are Kettcar, Röyksopp, Soapkills, some ambient sounds, some techno sounds and some schnekno (very slow techno I'd say). An alltime favorite are The Smiths.
Some favorite films are Blue is the warmest colour, The perks of being a wallflower (Emma Watson is a great and beautiful woman), Nocturnal Animals.
Books: Momo, Die 13 1/2 Leben des Käpt'n Blaubär, Die unertraegliche Leichtigkeit des Seins. For my current stay around Naples Elena Ferrante is great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so much great experiences. They are happening in all the little things every day. I couldn't name just one.

Teach, Learn, Share

...comes through talks and situations. But cooking together is probably always a good start :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If it works, a lot. We'll see ;)
