About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel to as many places as possible and then find the best coffee of the city!

ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Sarah! I normally study Liberal Arts & Sciences at the University College Maastricht in the Netherlands, but am currently on my Semester Abroad at the University of Washington in Seattle ( and love it here!).
I mainly focus on international relations, security studies and international law:)

I am a very open person and love to meet new people. I especially enjoy traveling, music, sports, reading and spontaneous "adventures" !

I grew up in Germany, in a city called Münster which is beautiful and you should all come and visit it! When I was 15 I moved to New Zealand for a year which was really awesome and has impacted me greatly. After I graduated I moved to Jerusalem to volunteer, then moved to a city called Maastricht in the Netherlands for college and now I am in Seattle!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have made a lot of friends over couchsurfing and think it's a great opportunity to firstly discover new places, but secondly also to meet so many interesting people with so many diverse and exciting stories to tell !

Interests

Oh so many!
I love doing sports and have played volleyball and football(Soccer) essentially my entire life, but also enjoy running and swimming! Furthermore, I love to listen to music and go to concerts and festivals.

I also have been an active member of Amnesty International for quite some time and started leading my own group last year an was a board member of our local Amnesty group. Having grown up mostly in Europe, I have realised that we often forget how many of the rights and privileges we take for granted are not so for the majority of the world's population, hence I feel it is my duty to give back and try to advocate for human rights!
