About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be Extraordinary, Not Ordinary.

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am a software engineer and an entrepreneur. I am the founder of a music app called Feelyouapp.com

I wish life had background music...so that we could play back our very own individual soundtracks whenever we wanted. I try to keep a positive vibe, and I love spreading it to others. I am passionate about the human brain. It is mind-boggling. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a gift. My body keeps me alive; Therefore, I try my best to respect it in return. As I write this, there is something being born, or something dying. The world in which we occupy is a big place. One will never gain the acceptance of everyone. So, I try my best to keep perspective. Even though sometimes it can be hard, I try to always remember that my bad day is not the "worst" day in the world. The small things like bad hair days, or being late because of traffic, or spilling coffee do not begin to justify a reason to have a bad day. They are unfortunate events, that you just should embrace and move on from. By keeping this perspective, you have more time to dwell on happy times because you are not complaining. This perspective of life also allows me to be positive and to immerse myself into each opportunity that comes my way and learn from each one. Besides, "time waits for no man".. said a very wise man. :) Carpe Diem Always.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was VERY afraid of flying when I was 14, and my school had a IB trip to Japan. All my classmates were going... it was a really small school. But, since I was afraid of flying... I did not think I would be able to attend the trip because of my phobia. But, it was a once in a life experience. So, instead of saying: "No, Thanks", I signed up for the trip, and decided to figure some way to get over my flying fear. I found a website, that helped people get over their fear. This pilot would walk you through a flight. You would put on headphones, and he would explain every sound, every step, everything. He used comparisons as turbulence to bumps in the road when you are driving ect... Well, story short.. Since I came across this random website I found, I have had no "flight-phobia", and I was able to fly non-stop (14 hours.. ah!) from Atlanta to Tokyo, Japan. When I got off the airplane, and I was on the other side of world.. I was 110% awestruck. Not only was I in Tokyo, but I had also conquered a fear.. and I did that on my own. Because of all of this, I am able to travel... a little easier now I suppose. :)
