About Me

Currently taking it all in, one day at a time

I'm a bit of a lost 22 year old kiwi with pretty terrible comebacks, and a mind that exclusively contains quotes from super esoteric low budget movies.
I'm pretty easygoing, very easily entertained and would be so so jazzed to repay the favour and host back home in NZ if you're ever on a visit there sometime.

I enjoy wandering around and talking to strangers, going wherever I fancy, cooking, drawing, writing and laughing.
Moving way over here has opened up a world of amazingness for me and I want to see it all. I'm not too much into touristy type things, but would rather people watch and just take in all that a city has to offer in terms of culture and alternative ways of life.

I've already studied a Bachelor of Visual Arts back in Auckland, to no avail, moved to Australia just because it seemed rad, mate, then moved to Ireland to become an Au Pair, but then after discovering I would fall in love with an Irishman much too quickly because their accents are too divine, decided to move to The Netherlands because I love salted liquorice even more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting people and to laugh with them (sometimes at them, let's be honest.)
I'd really love to host when I'm finally back home and show people what I love about my hometown or wherever it is I'm living and get them to be excited about the little things like I often am.
Like free sugar packets that you can use later or give to your mum for her collection.

Teach, Learn, Share

Unfortunately I don't have an awful lot to teach or share; maybe a lot of Arrested Development quotes or how to drive a manual car...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to repay you by cooking a meal or however many tries it takes to get it right.
I also genuinely enjoy doing dishes and doing groceries.
Also I can make a pretty decent cup of tea.

No one has ever told me I'm cool.
