About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to share my love for real food with real people, to learn about biodynamic agriculture, to improve my Spanish, to seek understanding, and to make positive changes with the time, energy, and resources available to me
ABOUT ME
I love people. I am a photographer, a food lover, a reader and an adventurer. I love conversations with respectful people who can teach me about their beliefs of all shapes and sizes. I am always looking for good energy and new experiences. I try to see bad situations as an opportunity for action instead of a reason to complain, and I'm always looking for people who can share and strengthen that sentiment.
PHILOSOPHY
"Men, being participants in and not only observers of their form of life or culture, can understand the working of human wills or purposes in a way they can never hope to understand the working of nonhuman phenomena..."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to help build a sense of friendship and intimate community though the tools we have in this big, fast, technological dawn of the supercentury...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly in Europe... I couchsurfed in Paris and it was a great experience. I've also been hosted in Rotterdam, an equally good experience. And I had a surfer stay with me for a few nights when I was living in Utrecht... but I'd like to try couchsurfing in the States. I've met a few Couchsurfers in Oklahoma and I hope we get some more activity through here -- I'm always ready for somebody to ask me to take them to my favorite little shops around town!
Interests
Food and cooking. Biodynamic agriculture. Photographs, in all their forms, shapes, and sizes. The machines that make them. Travel. Learning languages, especially Spanish. Reading history, literature, and things that fall in between. Bookmaking. But most of all, people.
