À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Visit every country in the world, and meet amazing people along the way.
ABOUT ME
Hey! I'm a student of "International Studies and Modern Languages" from Canada. I'm one of those people that makes friends with strangers on a daily basis, you know the ones that talk to the person next to them on the train or bus. I smile to people I pass on the street. I love animals. I love traveling and meeting new people. I have slept in many train stations and airports, and will likely continue to do so. Hitchhikes throughout Europe and Southern Africa. Politics, languages, human rights and equity issues are my passions. I consider ugly dancing an extreme sport.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that every person you meet, whether for 10 minutes or 10 years, has the possibility to open your mind and teach you something.
Tolerance is what the world is lacking, to gain tolerance you have to push yourself constantly to experience the previously unknown.
Centres d'intérêt
Music, politics, religion, history, traveling, finding the cheapest beer in whatever city I am in.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
In 2008 I participated in a week-long challenge, kind of comparable to "The Amazing Race" There were 250 teams of three people, and five starting points in Europe: Rome, Budapest, Manchester, Madrid and Berlin. The teams had one week to get from their starting point to the finish line in Paris... the catch?? We were stripped of all money, credit cards, train/bus passes and cell phones! We were given a cell phone strictly for the purpose of taking videos and pictures to upload to our fan site... my team started in Rome, and we had the most amazing adventure ever! The amount of incredible people who were willingly to give us food, or money, a place to sleep, a ride... was amazing!! And the fun we had, our team was nominated for best party team!!! This experience definitely taught me about how incredible people in general truly are!
In 2009 I was fortunate enough to be selected for an internship with an NGO in a village in Botswana, Africa. I lived with an incredible host family and worked with truly enlightening youth and co-workers, By far the most valuable thing I have ever been able to be a part of. Words cannot do this experience justice...
