HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I can host couch surfers on my couch, and am happy to show you around town. Both NYC and CT.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to a bunch of couch surfers at party of my friend (who has been a member forever) . She had been enthusiastically talking it up for a while and had great experiences on it. Once I joined I found lots of travel mates from Semester at Sea which I participated in 2002 thru the University of Pittsburgh. It's a small world. This kind of community re-enforces that people in the world are good by nature and just want to help each other out. I love that Beatles quote " I get by with a little help from my friends". I think it fits this kind of spirit couch surfers offer up and receive, one hand washing the other.

兴趣

Everything in this world interests me. My core interests are yoga, snowboarding, skiing, reading, music (i sing and play the cello), hiking, travel, languages, world religions, trying new foods, movies and the arts.

I Love all music. I play the cello, so classical makes me calm and at peace. Favorite bands: The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Madonna, Lady GaGa, Pink!, Stevie Wonder, Andre Rieu, and don't judge me... New Kids on the Block.

Books&Movies - Harry Potter, The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, The Pillars of the Earth, A Man named Ove, Lion - A king way home, Amalie and the Bible.
