About Me

CURRENT MISSION
March 2024 trip to London, Rome, Greece, Turkey, and possibly France.

ABOUT ME

I am a goof ball at heart but love deep conversations that build relationship/ friendship. I can't seem to sit still for too long. I always have a travel itch. I have always wanted to be a solo traveler but have been talked out of it by parents/sisters due to safety reasons. I enjoy traveling or searching for new cool spots where I live, I love trying new foods, beers, and wines, I love experiencing new cultures (food, art, history, traditions) and I envy the girl on the travel channel that gets to do these things and call it work! I LOVE meeting new people and learning about them and from them. I treat every experience as a time for learning and growth. I am a woman of faith, with strong morals and values but respect others as a whole and understand we are all beautifully different. This website has me excited for the opportunities it may bring to my life...whether it's being a tourguide for someone here in Charleston SC or traveling to a far off land to meet and live in the culture of others.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others how you want to be treated.
Build relationships not walls.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan to be an active participant! I will do my best to help anyone find a great spot to stay and I will definitely do my part in helping you plan your stay if you are to come to Charleston SC! This place has sooooo much to offer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used this site a lot to plan my first Europe trip and was thrilled with the people I met up with in Italy. I also hosted a traveler when they were here on business. Everyone I have been in contact with through this site has been awesome! I have met with the Charleston CS crowd and have had a blast getting to know everyone here. However it has been YEARS since I have been active (due to some life transitions). I am looking forward to being more active again.
