About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a undergraduate student at Sarah Lawrence College but have spent my entire junior year traveling and studying. I am studying urban studies/planning and the art of protest. I love to read, meet people and walk. I am also a musician, my preferred instrument being guitar and singing.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone is doing the best that they can

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed officially before! I've done many homestays as a traveling student and also some unofficial couchsurfing, by that i mean staying with extremely extended family, friends and friends of friends.

Interests

Singing, playing guitar, learning (in and out of class), and meeting people. Taking buses, subways and any other form of public transit I can. I think it is a great way to get to know places and an interesting way to meet people

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leaving the Delhi Metro at the Chawri Bazar station and walking out into the middle of Old Delhi. The insanity of the streets and power lines left me speechless, staring around with my mouth hanging open.

Living with a host family in Nicaragua, and then returning to visit them two years later, it was as if nothing had changed. The connections people can form in spite of language barriers never ceases to amaze me.
