ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Saralena, a New Zealander who has just spent two years living in the Uk doing various jobs to gain experience and to travel.
I enjoy photography and film, going to different cafes with friends, coffee or wine, nights out, or cycling around the local villages, meeting new people, having fun and experiencing new and exciting things.

I enjoy the calm of nature and the outdoors as a true New Zealander would. But I can`t help but crave the up beat life of London, my second home.

I am interested in a diverse range of genres; I am calm, relaxed and easy going. But I have a certain energy and positivity towards life and I just want to push myself to every edge and jump at any height. I know I can catch myself and enjoy the journey of life.

I love to travel, over the last couple of years I have been to over 17 different countries Including Sweden, The Netherlands, all around the UK (aswell as living there!) , France, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, and many more places. The list could go on.. I can't wait to see and experience more.
I am soon to travel South East Asia on my return to NZ.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to share experiences with people in different locations around the world.
On my return to New Zealand and once set up in a house for my studies starting next July. I hope to have a couch available in the beautiful and creative town of Wellington, NZ's capital.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am yet to have couch surfed. People I know that have tell me how I should.. So here I am!!

Zainteresowania

Photography and film are great interests of mine, I like to surround myself with creative people.
I also like, reading, writing, cycling, running and just in general, being out doors.
I often cycled from the village I lived in, to local villages such as Windsor, home to Windsor castle, and the Queen! :P

I love to travel and explore while meeting interesting people and having experiences different from everyday life.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I am always listening to music, weather its a bit of chillstep or singer songwriters while relaxing at home. The Neighbourhood, Alt J, Paolo Nuntini or more known music by Chart hitters like Sia, All find their way in to my life.
Grew up listening to my Fathers Rock music, whilst my Mother enlightned me to the greatness of Celin Dion.
With age I discovered Trap and House, thankyou London.

I enjoy watching shortfilms and appreciate a GOOD movie.
I like Travel and Nature Documentaries and admire Quentin Tarantino`s work.

I like to read photography books, phsychological thrillers and books from different perspectives.
