ABOUT ME

I am a happy, bubbly, open-minded person who finds personal descriptions difficult haha!

I love to eat, laugh and cry with new people and most importantly find out what makes them tick. I like to explore similarities and differences between different cultures, and to add aspects of different cultures to my everyday life (usually in the form of new foods, did I mention I LOVE food?! )

I believe in choosing to be happy, and choosing to help others be happy too.

Interests

Give me a good book, some good music and good food and I'm happy!

I enjoy listening to new music and playing new music. I learnt piano and saxophone as a child/teenager but haven't had much chance to practice since moving out of my parent's place. Since then I have tried teaching myself guitar, bass guitar, djembe drum and pan pipes all with varying amounts of success!

I enjoy singing ALL the time; in the kitchen, in the shower, in the shops, in my sleep; everywhere and with everyone. My mum always says to me: EVERYONE can sing and its true!

I really enjoy trying and cooking new foods. My favourite cuisines include lebanese, greek, japanese, thai, indian, mexican and italian.

My other interests are catching up with friends over coffee or drinks, running, yoga, reading and watching movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In New Mexico I sat in a natural hot spring while it was snowing. A simple moment but it was also the first time I saw snow falling from the sky (age 23!)
