ABOUT ME

I am a woman in love.... in love with my God, my husband Drew, my kids, my family and my friends (in that order). :-)

Hmmm.... What else? Here's a bunch of random stuff.

I promote a fantastic 90 Day Health Challenge that someone joins every 15 seconds. We don't have cable tv anymore but I don't really miss it b/c we have Netflix!!

I have a passion for public speaking and writing (communication in general).

My walls are covered with pictures of family and people I love.

I love the old song "Side by Side".

Though I'm not a professional like my husband, I do enjoy playing the piano and singing when I get the chance....but ACTING is what I really miss.

PHILOSOPHY

Much of who I am and what affects my entire life is my faith. I am a Christ-follower and live my life in friendship with Him. From this stems who I am. My "personal philosophy" is basically to continue to pursue understanding what it means to truly LOVE... both God and those he puts in my path.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't had specific CS experiences yet but I've grown up in a home where Mom had a huge gift of hospitality which she passed on to my sisters and I. We ALWAYS had various people staying with us for various amounts of time. Often boarders, out-of-town guests...which is why when a friend told me about CS, I LOVED the idea!

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I traveled across the country (Canada) leading a team of young women for a year. We held themed pj and beach party events for teenage girls speaking about what true beauty is and how valuable they are simply because they are THEM. It was a pretty incredible year. I play piano and used to teach (though don't have one currently).

My husband takes wicked pictures and can write a mean song.
