Overview
About Me
I'm a simple creature. I can survive pretty much anywhere and long for a day when I can have my own plot of land to call home :) Over the years I've studied natural resources and wildlife biology in the mountains in MD, I learned all about Permaculture and organic farming in Costa Rica, and I studied massage therapy in Baltimore! I've practiced massage therapy and energy healing for over 7 years. I moved to a small town in northern California called Arcata in 2014 and have been settled there ever since. I've spent this summer living on and helping to create a small intentional community on Cortes Island in B.C.
PHILOSOPHY
Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.
- John Wesley
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to meet local people when I travel so I can better immerse myself in the area!
Interests
I love pretty much anything that involves being outdoors! Hiking, gardening, swimming, hula hooping, rafting and I'm always down for new adventures! I love massage obviously and I also really enjoy yoga, meditation, and holistic, Chinese, ancient, and herbal medicine. I really enjoy baking and cooking all sorts of new things!

Teach, Learn, Share
I have a few massage tricks I could teach you that you can use on all your friends! I also love doing massage trades! There's always so much to learn from someone's touch. I know the basics of acupressure and energy work too and love sharing that information with people! The fact that there are points on your body that can cure almost any symptom that ails you absolutely amazes me! I've also been told that I can explain hoop tricks pretty well. I know a little bit about sustainable gardening and rain water catchment as well as a little about raw food nutrition, but I'd love to meet someone to learn about the subject from! I'd also love to learn more about herbal medicine and foraging!
