Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Let In and Let Go

ABOUT ME

I was born and since then raised in Hong Kong. I was an exchange student in Helsinki from Jan - Aug, 2009, during which I started my couchsurfing experience. That was my first time in Europe and the exchange was one of the amazing experience I've ever had.

I am an energetic and active guy who love to go outdoor activities and to sweat, though sometimes I could be quite emotional and sentimental!

I am majoring in Geography and Resource Management. I love my major because I could go field trips all the time and my classmates are bunch of people who really loves and cares about the environment and want to do something to make it better (though we know that it might be virtually impossible to change much) We always organise hiking and wild camping activities and travel together, though we havn't really travelled to many places outside Hong Kong.

PHILOSOPHY

The most amazing in life would only be discovered when you let yourself go and be thankful for anything encountered

Always Be true to myself

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend of mine highly recommended CS2 project and wish me all the best in my couchsurfing experience!

To be honest, I find it quite troublesome at first for signing up an account and typing all the stuff about yourself. Afterall it is not a comfortable thing to expose yourself to other people whom you might not see for the entire life.

But since I was in finland for the exchange life and after the first couchsurfing experience, i think may be I was wrong. Sometimes we are too afraid of strangers and getting to know someone new, while those maybe the persons where your greatest inspirations in life would come from. Even though we are just crosses that would never meet again but for once, but, life is like that, people come and go, so why not take the chance to meet interesting people?

Intereses

Long-distance and Cross country running -
I love the rhythm on my pace while I am running. It is a sense of freedom that I could feel as if I could go wherever I want. And it is the perseverance that keeps you running till the end.

Languages -
It's fun to learn languages and get to know how people respond in different way in different conditions, though I admit I am quite lazy and absent-minded that I could not learn very well.

Meditation -
Being alone and think quietly on your own is not only a way for relaxation, but also a means for you to be clear of what should be done ahead.

Navigation, Hiking and Wilding Camping -
I usually take the lead to navigate during hiking. Though there are thousands of times of getting into wrong paths, it is the sense of exploration that interests me a lot.
And being in the nature with the least equipment and facilities would make you appreciate the power of nature even more.

Street dancing -
Simply love the move and the sweats! Being with dancers who really dances with their "hearts" and endeavors in every single practice and performance.

Traveling -
who doesn't love it in CS!?

Música, películas y libros

I don't really read many books and watch many movies.

But "L'auberge espagnole", which describes how a life would be for an Eramus exchange student in Spain, is my current favourite. It is truly a reflection of what my life was during the stay in Finland.

Into the wild, The five people you meet in heaven, Kite runner, Man and Boy

I love J-pop especially Ayumi Hamasaki, Chihiro Onitsuka and Komatsu Miho

I could teach Cantonese and some Mandarin if you like
I could also share some Chinese cooking, though I don't really know much.

I would say I am a pretty ordinary guy, but I like to dance. So maybe I could share with you some dance clips that I really like.....
