About Me

CURRENT MISSION

love well. live in the now.

ABOUT ME

I am a passionate, driven and respectful lifetime learner. After working as an educator and outdoor guide in various capacities, I sold my soul to swashbuckle and live abroad for a year before finding my way to the Big Island a year and a half ago where I have been eating fresh papayas and playing in dirt ever since.

I enjoy hearing stories, challenging my own cultural assumptions and learning to better identify with people from all over the world. I believe that being outdoors is one of the most authentic things we can do as human beings and have spent years fostering that idea in students of all ages and backgrounds. I am passionate about environmental education and development work. I am excited to hear your story and learn whatever you have to teach me!!

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness." - Mark Twain

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking the Patagonian circuit. Rafting the Lochsa River. Swimming in the bioluminescent crashing waves. Riding a toboggan down the Great Wall of China. Watching the sun rise over Machu Picchu. Kayaking across Golfo Dulce in Costa Rica. Watching a whale swim in the Klamath River. Riding my motorcycle through the outskirts of Chiang Rai.
