ABOUT ME

Funny, responsible, crafty, and outdoorsy. I love to cook, dance, hike, and play with my kids! I live in beautiful southern Oregon, love to ride bikes and paddeboard, and are always planning adventures with friends!

I am respectful, tidy, and kind :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love to meet new people in their local towns. We love families, homes, pets, and the daily routines that people have.

We can also offer a couch if you happen to find yourself in one of the most beautiful spots on this earth - Humboldt County!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have met so many amazing people from CS! We have surfed with people that we've made plans with far in advance, as well as found amazing, generous hosts at the last minute. We feel so lucky to be part of this community!

Interests

We both work a lot outside, but during our time off, we cook, sew, plant things, ride bikes, watch movies, brew beer, go to baseball games, watch football, play with out cats, hike the hills, and swim in local rivers!

Music, Movies, and Books

We don't keep up with the Top 40 but we LOVE music and always have something playing. We both grew up surrounded by rock & roll, and love the classics! We are currently super into Clem Snide, Lord Huron, Rhye, Feist, and so many hundreds of others.

Movies? Big Lebowski, Goonies, Dumb and Dumber, anything created by Coen Brothers, Christopher Nolan, Wes Anderson - we love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Walking around Taksim (Istanbul) the night before New Year's Eve
2) Visited Anne Frank's house
3) Took a scenic train over the Alps during a blizzard!
4) Hiked Cique Terre
5) Rode the Paris subway system
6) Ate cow's head and pig's face in rural France
7) Took a 3 hr bike tour of Barcelona!
