ABOUT ME

I love the outdoors--hiking, canoeing, bicycling--just about everything. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do though, and not like a tourist would, but I like to know what it is like, to actually live in a place. Getting "lost" in a city is one of the best ways to discover it, finding wonderful places and experiences along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

We've got one life, we will make mistakes and work for successes, but life is not about an end result. Life is about taking in the moment and enjoying the journey, learning, and being open in understanding what is unknown.

I recently biked 115 miles to stop halfway in Carbondale for breakfast, and in Makanda because it was there, to return home that evening.

Teach. I'm a student in Anthropology and German. I know well enough about how to listen and attempting to understand through the views of others. I could also likely help beginning levels of German.
