Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet and interact with new people.
I love to travel and I like hanging out. Couchsufing offers itself as a pretty neat platform to do both at the same time!

Interests

I like to travel, to go to new places and experience different cultures, different people and different viewpoints. Oh, and different cuisine! I like to cook, and love to try food from different places. For me, wandering around aimlessly in a new city while finding out neat places to eat is a day well spent.

I have a growing interest in photography. Its something I'm exploring now, though a bit more passively than I'd like. And, I like to dance. Always up for that.

Physics is what I do and its one of my longest enduring interests. In particular I like learning about table top tricks or experiments that demonstrate some physical concept which you can pull off with household items. And also, telling people about the neat quirky things that goes on in our world which are not that well known. Science trivia, if you will!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide variety of music and my favourites vary by mood. Currently I'm more into instrumental pieces, and some electro jazz on the side.

As for movies, I tend to gravitate towards ones which deal with more difficult or gray topics and don't have happy endings, more often than not. But I like the occasional trash film just as much as the other person!

I tend to read whatever I can get. Reading was my biggest hobby growing up. I'm trying to add "And it still is" after that sentence. I will, eventually.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I scuba dived in the coral reefs around some islands in the Arabian sea off the coast of India. That was an amazing experience for me

I got a lot of other stories, quite a few of them which may or may not involve being inebriated. Lets keep the suspense till we meet, shall we.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories and little anecdotes. Or just silly goofy talk about whatever under the sun.
Oh, I like to cook as well, and have been told I'm decent at it as well. So I can offer up some neat Indian cuisine as well.
