ABOUT ME

I live life to the fullest and enjoy it everyday I wake up. I am an artistic and creative person, I draw and paint, write and think loudly, I love music, play the guitar (crapily). I do sports such as mountain hiking, rock climbing, race biking and swimming. I like meeting new people from all over the world. I love travelling and do it spontaneously and impulsively. Usually I don't plan things all the way through, I just take it as it comes.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow worries about itself. Life is an adventure that must be experienced. And it's way too short, to be pissed off all the time. Don't dream other people's dreams while sitting on your couch eating french fries.
Poetics of time compression while the puzzle pieces of your life get connected: Every story you hear, every person you talk to will add on to what you will call the story of your life in the aftermath.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love coming across new people with interesting stories. Participating means being involved, being part of where I am and who I am with. I like having people here and I like being elsewhere. I like to be shown around as much as I like having people staying with me and showing them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far not much. I had a girl from Marseille living with me for six weeks while I lived in Kiel. It was fun and she enjoyed it. I have a lot of friends who already stayed with me for a couple of days and I try to make it as comfortable as possible. So far no complains.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Living in the Canadian wilderness last summer. Three months in the bush after being dropped off by a float-plane in the middle of nowhere, where I was surrounded by animals of all sorts and sizes. Laying on my balley watching a grizzly mother and her two cubs feed only a hundred meters away. Listening to the howling wolves trying to fall asleep, stargazing with Northern lights above me. Being alone out there knowing that I can do it but also knowing how incredible it is to come back to a loving family and friends!
