About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel while I'm young and still have a fair amount of freedom. Super excited to meet new people and see new places.

ABOUT ME

I work in the journalism industry in California. I'm a big fan of sci fi, photography, baking, and feminist punk music!

PHILOSOPHY

"Try not to become a man of success, but rather to become a man of value." - Albert Einstein

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend recommended I try this site out a long time ago, and I loved it. While I was in my junior year of college, I spent my Spring Break couchsurfing in Bangkok and had an amazing time traveling around the city, exploring places that were off the beaten path, and meeting great people.

Before discovering CS, I was a big fan of hostel-traveling, and when I was 17, I stayed with two home-stay families in France.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ate taranchula, crickets, snake and a fertilized egg the summer I was living in Cambodia. It's not really amazing, but it's a crowd-pleaser.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can bake beautiful tarts/pies, and I make a mean mango salad. I'm also a writer, and I'm often down for a bit of peer-editing.

If any of you are French-speakers, I could really use the practice!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm tidy, and I can entertain you by singing the first 32 seconds of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDtdQ8bTvRc
