About Me

Hello!
Firstly, I am a lover of the arts in any form. I'm taking a hiatus from my college courses to pursue a lifelong dream of glassblowing and am attending Pilchuck Glass School in Standood, WA this summer and fall. I've mostly worked figuratively in painting and drawing but this is the first leap towards a career in art, through glass!
I also really enjoy music, thrifting, and cooking. I try to eat plant based as much as possible and make vegetarian and vegan meals often. I practice yoga when I can but enjoy a guided class more than anything.
I love to learn, and read whenever I have a free morning or evening. I'm passionate about the earth, and our impending environmental destruction, science, social and political justice, and creativity.
I have a deep love for self expression and find a lot of happiness in doing that through thrifting and fashion. Color is everything so I find that avant garde and abstract concepts find themselves into my wardrobe and art, often.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couchsurfing experience left me with a warm happy feeling towards the couchsurfing community, merely because it is just that, a community! I had taken a detour with my entourage en route to Napa, CA & we showed up much later than expected (3am) at our Hosts home. We were greeted with such a welcoming energy and had the best stay despite our late arrival. Any travel experience I've had with couchsurfing has made the experience so special in the best way possible.
Very excited to learn and share new experiences with people all around the world.
