Current mission:
To use my creative gifts to write stories and make music that helps broken hearts heal and restores people's faith in a God who loves them!

About me:
I am a screenwriter, artist musician, permaculture enthusiast, herbalist and back to the land naturalista when I'm not busy pitching screenplays or laying down vocals in a studio!

I spent pretty much all of my 20's trying to expatriate to Europe, Ireland specifically.. Couchsurfing made all my micro-budget journeys abroad possible., thanks to all the wonderful CS hosts that have opened their homes to me over the years!
The times I've been able to host others has always been a treat and I look forward to when I have a place big enough to do that again!

It's only been since summer of 2015 that I've decided to just go ahead and make a home somewhere in America and finally put down some roots. I've risked everything more than once to follow a dream/vision. Sometimes the dream was real and rewarding, sometimes not but an educational experience all the same.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

CS represents the kind of unspoken traveler's code of mutual hospitality that used to be universal in the world…. These days it's harder and harder to find people who feel safe with the idea of “taking in a stranger” but thanks to CS, you can rest assured that underneath the “stranger” is a member of the extended family of fellow travelers, explorers, adventurers and people who live outside the box and keep life fresh and interesting.

Spending my 20's essentially living out of a back pack would never have been possible , nor would I have had the inspiration and gumption to "follow my dreams" if CS had not been the invaluable, available resource that it is!

Intereses

Sustainable Agriculture, homesteading and self sufficiency.
Good gatherings with great food and music around a bonfire,
Days spent in nature just taking it all in, anything to do with the Ocean, (sailing, swimming, seafood!etc)

Antiques or anything that looks/feels like it has a good story behind it.

Old books, used bookstores, slow rides on the back of a motorcycle up windy mountain roads on beautiful days, Staying informed on current geo-socio-political and economic realities via multiple sources of alternative news.

Stargazing, being of service, playing with kids, taking care of elderly folks, making art, getting lost in good thrift stores finding bargains and treasures.
Climbing trees, long conversations that go into the wee small hours of the morning.

I've had uncanny supernatural experiences such as dreaming of things that later came to pass in reality in exact vivid detail or having a a telepathic conversation with a horse.
Traveled cross country TWICE in a little Toyota RV by myself, once down to Baja and back.

How to treat a variety of physical ailments naturally and how to make various salves, oils, tinctures, and other remedies to do so.

How to do leatherwork.
How to make your own sauerkraut, kimchee, etc in a mason jar at home.
How to do the Charleston…
How to use essential oils and what “aromatherapy” is all about, etc..
How to write a Screenplay
Effective techniques for "Inner Child" work

SAILING!!
Horseback riding.

How to actually use my sewing machine to make the fabulous clothes I see in my mind!
How to fish.
How to hunt, skin and tan a hide and make jerky!
How to Tango better. Practice makes perfect! :)
I'm always up for refining my already pretty solid aim on a firing range.

I'm also a very clean house guest, I like to do dishes, if they're sitting in the sink, I'll likely do yours!

Having worked many odd-jobs as a personal organizer, project manager, production assistant and high end vacation rental manager/cleaner, I am very organized and conscious of a host's space and resources,.

I have traveled enough to know how to pretty much be the ideal house guest! :) I'll probably leave you a little hand made present and you bet I'm gonna cook you some amazing food!
