ABOUT ME
Whether at a local music festival, a curbside cafe in Paris, or a steamy hamam in Casablanca, I have never been disappointed with the experiences I have had in meeting new people. I'm a bit of a nerd and have always had a passion for science and medicine, which surprisingly (to some) has fueled my other passion for learning and embracing the cultures of others. My experiences abroad have further increased my interests in someday living and working abroad, traveling the world, sharing and gaining knowledge from the people I am fortunate to encounter.
I enjoy listening more than speaking, tea more than coffee, running more than walking, chocolate more than vanilla, and a letter in the mail more than email. I grew up playing basketball and soccer and I'm always looking for pick-up games to put my "skills" to use…or at least try to keep up with the pros. Love stand-up comedy and I'm a sucker for poetry nights, so visits to local spots with the friends is always a good time.
Looking forward to traveling in the future and meeting fellow couch surfers!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: all kinds (except for country but willing to give it a chance)…currently humming to Pyramids by Frank Ocean .
Books: all kinds… currently reading Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts
Movies: all kinds…recently watched Amelie, a beautiful French love story
I realize "all kinds" defies the definition of "favorite" but let's attribute it to my mission of exploration.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping under the stars and dancing to Berber drums in the Saharan Desert.
