I am currently traveling through Iceland, Norway, Ireland, London, France, Italy, Hungary, Prague, Krakow, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen! I am looking to meet new friends and locals along the way for a more enriching experience (beyond the tourist spots). I love getting an insider's view on a town I've never been to before.

I'm a big food enthusiast---I wouldn't say I'm picky, but when I do have the chance to eat somewhere nice I go all out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am spending my first trip in Europe this summer with another female friend and am looking to meet new friends and locals with insider tips. I'm moving to NYC after I finish my trip, and will begin to host surfers there as well. I'm always in favor of having guests over, or helping others out when possible.

Interests

I am interested in good food, photography, meeting new people, and seeing new places. I love crime and mystery novels, collecting art, and exploring. I'd rather spend the day outside versus inside.

I have recently developed a love for Scandinavian architecture. There's just something about the different colors, shapes, and of course all the windows!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite musicians are Metric and Imogen Heap. I've seen each 3 times live, and will continue to seize every opportunity to do so. Other than that, I'm open to just about anything! I've been to heavy metal and country shows, but I'm more likely to frequent indie rock or alternative rock. Ever since going to New Orleans, I've also been more into jazz. What makes the music experience for me is when a band puts a lot of energy into their live show. (I went to a lot of shows in my high school years).

Movie wise, I love anything from the 90's. Clueless is a great start.

My favorite book of all time is The Great Gatsby. I've tried watching the newer movie three times, and each time I've fallen asleep. Not a fan.

With hosts I can share anything American. I'd love to hear more about your culture and share mine with you! I am also great at cooking grilled cheese, I tear up when I laugh really hard, and I clean up after myself. I am a terrific listener and a faithful friend.
