Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently taking my first trip outside the US with my friend Tom. Haven't couch surfed in over 7 years but I had a great time hosting and traveling back in 2010. Looking to meet and stay with some good people while traveling on this adventure.

My hobbies are song writing, photography, and cooking. I got 2 cats, and sometimes too much free time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat in a cabin in the mountains and did a 10 day vipassana session. It's a concentrated type of meditation, sometimes done for months at a time. I meditated from 4 in the morning till 9 in the evening with only a few small walks, and a light meal in between.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to take my hosts out to dinner at their favorite spot and have some good conversation
