About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see more amazing places and meet more lovely people.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest (Washington State) and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area after college about seven years ago. Ocean on one side, mountains on the other is pretty much a requirement for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While I travel I want to meet people, engage with others, and really get a sense of a place instead of just passing through. That being said if somebody wants to host and only has time for a quick chat and a recommendation over coffee that's ok too!
I've unofficially hosted a few acquaintances in the past but hope to get organized and start hosting soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No personal experience really. My friends who couchsurf have sold me on it and everyone I know who has surfed/hosted has had a fantastic time!
Interests
I was drawn to my career as a dietitian because of my love for cooking and eating. I enjoy exploring farmers markets, trying out new foods/recipes, baking, and of course going out for meals, coffee or drinks, especially with friends (new or old)!
When I'm not at home reading, drawing, knitting, listening to music or cooking - I really enjoy being outside. My first choice would be in nature (woods, countryside or ocean) but I also truly appreciate the beauty of the city, and enjoy exploring museums, seeing concerts and wandering around town. While I'm exploring I enjoy taking photos, sketching or painting if time allows.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy most music but I tend to lean towards the more folksy, acoustic, foot stomping kind of tunes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming under the Hanakapi'ai Falls in Kauai, Hawaii.
Solo walked The Great Glen Way in the highlands of Scotland.
Driving highway 1 in California in a mint green 1965 VW Beetle.
Teach, Learn, Share
As previously mentioned- food/cooking can be taught, shared or learned.
I would love to learn more about yoga, rockclimbing , long distance walking, and photography among many many other things.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My good company, love for cooking, excellent dish washing skills, and easy going nature.
