COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Joined up in 2011 and have had many guests come and stay, especially over the summer months. Have to say most are fantastic eye-opening experiences although have had a few duds....but that's life!.
Only couch-surfed twice myself but plan to go on a couch surfing binge starting 2014.
Interests
Work part time growing native plants on French Island so have plenty of free time to enjoy other leisurely pursuits . This may entail working in my garden, surfing or exploring some wild section of coast.
Overall I live a pretty relaxed and simple life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sunset from Sygiria, a mountain fortress in Sri Lanka. Chased down and nearly stomped to death by a wild elephant. Surfed the longest wave in the world in south America. Got lost in the Amazon and was captured by Peruvian military accusing me of being a spy and interrogated while I was high on magic mushrooms.
Instigated the biggest wild-life corridor project in Australia.
