Hello people! My name is Sardha and I'm from the Netherlands. I recently returned to NL from a volunteer job at Vertigem in Bezerra, Portugal. I've graduated this summer from my masters and am currently thinking about my options for the future. Of course I am doing loads of fun things whilst doing that! However, I currently stay at my parents' house, which makes receiving people more difficult.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my two-years master, I lived in five different countries with a group of students from all over the world. I love learning each others language, culture and way of thinking! For me, having friends in different countries is very valuable. Therefore, I would like to meet many of you! I cannot wait to being a host myself after my very positive experience in the beautiful Portugal.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my everything, I cannot picture a world without. The main genre I listen to is indie/alternative rock with favourite bands including Radiohead, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club, Muse..... etc etc etc! I always love to attend concerts and festivals where I could enjoy any type of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Moving to Portugal to volunteer at an ecological farm in the middle of nowhere
- Living in five different countries in one year
- Working in a chocolate factory on new products... noms!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have travelled and lived abroad a lot, so plenty of experience to share with you. In addition I could tell stories of growing up in the Netherlands. If you'd be interested in learning some Dutch (or wanting to improve English) I could help. But most importantly, I am a friendly, positive girl and it would be nice to meet some new friends!
