About Me

Hi, I'm Sarah, 24 years old and I'm studying in Germany.
I'm a very open-minded, easy going and spontaneous person who loves to travel and get in touch with new people. I love to learn about other cultures and countries to understand the world we're living in, each time a little bit better by my travel experiences and the thoughts and stories people tell me.

Besides this I love being in nature and going hiking, so I'm open to any adventure or sponteous trip as well as just having a meal together or a good chat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As all the other people being on and doing couchsurfing, of course I love to travel. But for me traveling isn't only about visiting new countries, getting to see new places and meeting new people but it is mostly about learning more about other cultures, other ways of thinking, living and about having different perspectives on what's going on in the world. So travelling makes me widen my spririt and my thoughts. This is why I'm also studying "social science with the focus on intercultural relations" because in that way my knowledge and understanding for other cultures is not only enriched by my travels but also by my studies. Although I'm not sure where this will me lead to, I'm fine with that because I live day by day, trying to enjoy every single moment as if it could be the last.

I've already done courchsurfing several times and it was each time a nice and completely different experience which is one reason why I love couchsurfing because you never know with who you gonna stay and how you will spend the next days. But it's always an enriching experience based on the mutual share of experiences and cultures.
And I would love to have more of these moments, so that's basically why I'm doing couchsurfing.
