About Me

A total adrenaline junkie from Finland. I want to do more and more exciting things, one time isn't enough for me. But my character is not only being exciting of everything. I like peaceful places in nature and outdoor sports. I want to discover the whole world before I die. That's why in the future I want to have a permanent job in travel industry. Heading towards that (and kinda somehow managed to do it).

I started an outdoor guiding school in September of 2016 and I really can't even tell you how excited I'm about it. In the future I am gonna be qualified climbing, rafting and kayaking instructor (hopefully hehe, have to pass all the exams and tests first).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to show the best parts from my town and also to explore other countries. The best way that happens is a local person.

Interests

I do love winter the most since I can practise my favourite sports: Snowboarding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. Hiking areas are also close to me and my dog's heart (here in Lapland we do have great places to do that). In general I like to try all kinds of sports haha.

Also very interested about trying gluten free food around the world. Since I do have a Celiac Disease I just have to avoid wheat, rye and barley.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm up for anything! Mostly listening songs that have lyrics which fit in my life that moment. I usually watch documentaries and comedia movies. Game of Thrones is theeeee ultimate best serie right now.

A book about disabilities with heartbreaking love story "Me before you" and the second version "After you". Those books made me think is it really that bad if you lose just one leg? You still have one and two hands. Think about it. And yes there is a movie about it but it's full of hollywood stuff. It was fun to watch it though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When hitchhiking in Iceland I stopped in this small town called Vik and hiked on the top of the mountain Hatta with my 12kg backpack. I was tired, hungry and just wanted to get there, eventhough at some point I almost quit.

I always remember the feelings I got when I was standing there alone spinning around, hands spread to the sides and face towards the sky while it was snowing.

Like really. I want to have this kinda moments until I die.
