Overview
About Me
I'm respectful, kind, helpful and open for a good laugh.
I've traveled a lot and led a nomadic life for about 8 years.
I'm passionate about body-mind related practices, life, nature and human nature (self inquiry).
I've stayed in temples, jungles, mountains and lived on the beach. (I'll soon add info in "Amazing things done").
I enjoy sharing personal stories, experiences, practical skills or activities, and I don't mind silence either.
I'm not a big fan of talking about politics/religion though, esp. if it comes down to superior notions to convince one another of what's right and wrong; it seems to create unnecessary opposition instead of emphasizing the common ground of human life on Earth.
I love expressions such as "Unity in Diversity" and "Be the change you'd love to see in the world".
I enjoy both making music and listening to it, I like cooking, being in nature, creating practical or beautiful things, and I like both outdoor and cultural activities.
I love learning my way around from a more local perspective and usually tend to go "off the beaten track".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because this June/July (2018) I will be looking for a place to stay in and around Shanghai, China as well as in Japan (Amami Kagoshima, Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo).
Once I'm back home and settled again, I'd be happy to receive guests as well.
I like the combination of traveling alone and also having company.
I like to know places I visit from a more local perspective, and learn insider tips, tricks, customs and places.
