ABOUT ME

active, happy, I love life!, thrustworthy, kind. I have had a travel bug since I was an exchange student in Michigan (1993/1994) I lived with a lovely host family for one year and experienced how much fun it was to meet locals. Before I started university I traveled to Oceanie, Asia and South America (1997-1999) In 2006 I made my last backpacktrip to China and South East Asia. Nowadays I make smaller trips to OEROL (everybody who comes to Holland in june has to go to this theater festival on Terschelling!)and skiing in Austria (this year I'm going work for snowemotion.nl)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I promoted couchsurfing during my Asia trip and now I'm willing to invite people into my home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived with host families in Equador, U.S., New Zealand, Australia. I will remember my experience with Greg, my kiwi host in Hippyland, Motueka, New Zealand for the rest of my life! As well as thet time I met a truckdriver who thrusted me so much that he gave me the key of his appartement and told me that I had to introduce myself to his roommates since he had to keep on working. Recently I surfed couches in China and Malaysia.

meeting people, traveling and learning things from different cultures, swimming, skiing, reading, have a wine or beer with friends, going to the pub once and a while, talking!I also love live music, especially when there is an opportunity to dance as well! I play theatre (location and improvisation) And I just started playing the accordion.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like reading books when I have time and this ranges from literature to 'chick lit'(Jill Mansel)Books that I read recently: Harry Potter, Da Vinci code,Memoirs of a Geisha. I like music that makes me happy: party music, no hard core. Romantic comedies (Nothing Hill).
