ABOUT ME

she: is a bundle of fun. loves new languages, cultures, & anything that puts her out of her element or comfort zone. she's far from shy, very easy-going, happy-go-lucky, and can have fun with anyone, anywhere. she rides a vintage steel schwinn frame road bike. she genuinely enjoys getting to know new people, & loves being able to say she is part of the great community on the planet (couchsurfing, duhh!). love sports, running, triathlons, and the like! ran her first full marathon in honolulu in december 2011. can't get enough of the outdoors. has a bit of a redneck bone down deep inside.

PHILOSOPHY

Shoot for the moon because even if you miss you'll land among the stars....

I do what makes me happy. I only have so much time on this earth, and I plan on enjoying it thoroughly before that time is up.

real books: the sex lives of cannibals, things fall apart, gossip girl series, the truth about diamonds, confessions of a shopaholic, and the davinci code.

kids books: where the sidewalk ends, underwear, die felix bücher, and sheep in a jeep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finished first full marathon (26.2 miles) in Honolulu, HI in 2011.

Flipped our raft on a Class V rapid in Guatemala.

Watched the sunrise from the top of a mountain in Bergen, Norway.

Jumped off 30+ foot cliffs in Guatemala into Lake Atitlan.

Partied at Streetparade in Zurich, Switzerland.

Layed face-down on the glass windows of the Rheinturm tower in Dusseldorf, Germany; 240m high in the air.

Hiked 36 miles on the Appalachian Trail 2011.
