Hi,

Me and my friend Janina created this profile to meet new people while we are doing our internship together in Amsterdam. I'm from India, Mumbai, but I have also lived in Kerala, Tamilanadu, Kerala, Goa, Rajasthan and Delhi. I have also took a training from Sea Cadet Corp from Indian Navy where my father is working. I'm a Fine Artist pursuing my Master degree in design.

Janina is from Finland and she has done her Erasmus periods in Italy and Czech Republic. She has previous experience about Couchsurfing with her ex-boyfriend. She has hosted people all around the world in her hometown in Turku, as well as being quest while backpacking in Asia and Europe. She is studying media as her major at the university.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're on Couchsurfing as we like to talk about different cultures. Actually, our evenings are commonly filled with having dinner together and talking all night long. We are more interested about meeting local people than just going for the traditional touristic activities.

Janina: The most eye-opening few days were when I visited a very rural island in Indonesia with my ex-boyfriend. The people were living in a small community, having electricity only half an hour per day.
