ABOUT ME

In my opinion, the best treasure that the world held is people. One person can give us so much knowledge, happiness, the possibility to share, to make an evolution... to see the world with other eyes... based on that, I do whatever it takes to keep in touch with these important people in my life and meet the important ones that cross my path. I am energized and I love to travel and learn. One of my favourite hobbies is to drink a Yasmin tea having a good conversation with a friend... I love rock climbing and I practice it since I'm 9.... I love to see the sun going down and meet new people... new stories... I have my mind open to everything that can make me a better person...
I love International relations, mostly focused in development and in Latin American issues...and of course... I love dancing, it liberates my soul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have attended two revivals in NY and were awesome, the people was amazing, interesting and welcoming, I would love to keep attending this events, now I'm going back to London... I cant wait to meet the couchsurfers over there..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I heard about coachsurfing, when I was 15, I met a Portuguese girl that was left in the Madrid bus station and had to wait to take the bus next day, the sugestion the bus company made to her was to sleep in the station (in a very dangerous area) I call my grandma to tell her if I could bring someone... And I bring Suzana with me, she was sweet and friendly. When the terrorist bombing happened in Madrid, she was the first one to call to my home (from Portugal) to check if me and my family and I were OK, that will stay forever in my heart. My second experience was when I lived in Granada, I met Corin in the bus, this wonderful, funny and adventurous girl that was traveling around Spain by herself, she asked me a cheap place to stay.. I just charged her some questions about Mexico and friendship forever. After that, my home has been always the home of my friends, and of the fiends of my friends.

Interests

I love living! readin, taking pictures, learning,painting, climbing, snowboarding, traveling... swimming.. all adventure sports... I love the nature.. mountains specially... but as well the beach.. I love to meet new people, to learn about other cultures and other languages. I love to learn about Human Rights and development, Latin America.... Caribbean.. but as well the rest of the world.. I love dancing!!Forro, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, kizomba and Flamenco... (Flamenco more to see than to dance... :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read about current affairs, but as well novels that make me fly.... I love Paulo Coelho...
Noah Gordon... and I try to read everything that jumps on my hand. I believe knowledge will make me grow, and make me happy. Music... I love etnic music, brazilian, iranian, african, latin rithms...! Adriana Calcanhoto, Tribalistas, Maria Rita, Seu Jorge, Daniela Mercury, Ivete Shangalo, Gilberto Gil, Rappa, Vanessa da Mata, Natiruts, Forrozinhos... and lot more! I like some portuguese singers like Mafalda Veiga, and french like TRYO. I love salsa too!!! Luis Enrrique,Mark Anthony... everything with good vibes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed very high route in the north of Spain looking to the sunset... amazing... I met my wonderful friends in many different countries... they are the most amazing thing in my life...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach spanish... portuguese... english... and I can share my personal experience and opinions... Im not a very good cook but I could teach to do the famous "Spanish Omelet" :-)
