Been traveling in North and Central America for the past 16 months, it has been a great experience, meeting some fantastic people from all over the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We will be hosting more couchsurfers when we return from traveling in the Spring.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always had a constant stream of friends, acquaintances, and people who just need a place to crash for a night occupying our couch..

Sarit:
Swimming - We live 10 minutes walk to the seaside (Salthill, Galway)
Scuba diving - can be cold and murkey in Ireland, but sometimes it can be crystal clear and as gorgeous as tropical reefs.
Popcorn....mmm

Peter:
I love surfing, skateboarding, good beer, red wine, coffee, pizza, having green fingers and ranting about politics.
I work as a web developer and have a passion for technology and the web. I also have an interested in renewal energy projects, alternative sustainable building methods and sustainable living in general.

Both of us:
Surfing - lets just say we love the sea
Camping - there are loads of lovely beaches you can camp on in the west of Ireland for free.
Nature - it´s great! :)
Environmental and social justice issues - activism and direct action - be the change you wish to see ...
Drinking, eating and having a laugh with friends.

Some books worth a mention - Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, The immortal life of Henrietta Lacks, One flew over the Cuckoos nest, Vernon God little, Catch 22, The Drifters, Principa Discordia, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Brave New World, Shikasta and loads more

Authors: Douglas Adams, Philip K Dick, Aldous Huxley, Kurt Vonnegut, Rohld Dahl, Hunter S. Thompson, Irvine Welsh and many more I cant think of right now!

Peter:
I love some classics like the first two Godfather movies, Apocalypse Now, The shawshank redemption... cult movies like .. Requiem for a dream, The Big Lebowski, City of God, most Tarantino, Coen Brothers and Guy Richie movies.. nearly anything with Bill Murray in it and weird one´s like Tideland, Bad Boy Bubby, Gummo... but these are just a few examples.

I love documentaries.. anything from Adam Curtis.. Zeitgeist.. The fog of war... The revolution will not be televised - inside the coup... as a few examples
Music documentaries like Marley... The future is unwritten (The clash)... & Instrument (Fugazi)

I love a wide variety of music.. except psytrance.. i fucking hate psytrance
