ABOUT ME

It's difficult to describe myself, I can be really shy and outgoing. I enjoy people, music is my life, and I have the worst ADD, I'd like to call myself an excessive day dreamer!

When im not day dreaming, I like to hang out, go for walks, explore my surroundings and absorb it all! Im an amateur photographer as well. I was in a indie band with some friends back home, ever since then I try to surround myself with music every chance I get. I've learned to play bass and a little guitar. Making some tunes is what I love the most, it's the best way for me to express feelings cause I am really bad with words!

I've been living in France since January, and I've come to LOVE cooking! It's my new favorite pasttime, along with baking. I love trying new foods, I love tasting things but I have to confess that I have a fear of textures, like oysters and escargots!

I enjoy reading up on global news because I think its important be aware of the world and its current issues.

PHILOSOPHY

do unto others as you would have them do unto you....it's worked for me this far! I try to stay clear of people who have prejudices simply because its a limitation on living and learning. I am accepting of their choices though, and this is what makes me pretty open minded!!

Music, Movies, and Books

movies by Wes Anderson, Hitchcock and Kubrick. Movies are a passion of mine! I love all good films, but I really enjoy the ones that make you think!

I love going to concerts, shoes, bars and clubs with live music! My favorite bands include Grizzly Bear, The Cure, A Tribe Called Quest, Cocorosie, Devendra Banhart, Erykah Badu, Whitest Boy Alive, MGMT, Lauryn Hill, New Order and many many others!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen breakdancers near the Eiffel Tower, a posh young women getting robbed on a metro, street vendors run like Speedy Gonzales, a British woman yelling at a man for a kebab. It not much, but everyday things are pretty amazing if you viewed in a simple, appreciative perspective.

Teach, Learn, Share

People see you as they want to see you, but first impressions can really make a difference. In this day and age, no one is who they appear to be. I feel that it's important that you get to know someone first before you pass judgment. Even if you don't like the person in the end, you at least tried and learned how people can present themselves in way you may not know of.
