After 1.5 years of travelling through Europe, India, Southeast Asia and New Zealand I arrived in London where I studied songwriting for 3 years and have just finished my degree in April 2022!

(Excerpt from my Couchsurfing page 3 years ago) London is where I plan to start a new life for a few years playing gigs, writing songs, starting a band, acting, modelling and networking with all the amazing people London has to offer!

I ended up achieving all of these things...I'm a bit blown away as I'm writing this, what a crazy journey! I am now a professional performing and recording artist, both solo and with my rock band Hello Amnesia. I work as a freelance audio engineer in some of Londons most prominent venues and run my very own project management company - 'SJARK'. This journey has taught me the value of community, commitment, networking, patience, perseverance, integrity and goal setting. Most importantly, I learned that everyone sees you through their own filters, so it's best to not base significant life decisions on what others project onto us and instead, to listen carefully and work out what sits closest to our hearts.

I love Music, Theatre, Film, Philosophy, Socialising, Card/Board Games, Video Games, Photography, Reading and World Travel!! I'm easy going, friendly, very sociable, love every kind of food and a sucker for new experiences!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, sharing new experiences and In general just having a great time. I believe couch surfing is ideal for doing just that, so here I am!

I love any music from classical and opera to jazz, blues, folk, rock, country and even heavy metal - my tastes are very broad.

I have so many favourite movies it's impossible to choose one! Maybe V for Vendetta or The Talented Mr Ripley.

Shantaram is my favourite book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting picked up by a Hawaiian record label and recording my first solo album whilst backpacking across New Zealand, entirely by accident. A most humbling sequence of events that is largely responsible for my life as I know it today.

I can teach you what I know about performing, audio engineering, songwriting and starting a company.
Basic guitar chords/scales and singing techniques/exercises.
If you've got a project on the go, I work professionally as a consultant, so I'd be glad to jump in and support your work in any way I can. I get very excited about making plans and helping to bring peoples projects to life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Play music with you/for you and your friends.
Love to cook and clean - happy doing odd jobs.
If you have any projects you are working on I would love to get involved! I'm intuitive, hard working and good at following instructions.
Reasonable knowledge of computers, cameras, audio equipment and other electrical goods.
