About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore, laugh, connect, eat and dance
ABOUT ME
I'm a student, a gardener, a dancer (unprofessionally and wildly), and I love food. I read a lot, I'm studying to be a teacher, and laughter keeps me alive (as well as good coffee, food, wine and beer). Silliness, inspiration and learning. I like witnessing strangers smile and laugh to themselves. I respect independence. Learning about others and myself and enjoying the journey.
PHILOSOPHY
Discovery, in and outside of myself. Humans have similar needs. Love. Laugh. Eat. All emotions are equal. Put yourself out of your comfort zone. I am feeling like I sound much more serious in writing about myself (what a strange, difficult (accurate? or inaccurate) thing to do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
New to couch surfing, I am interested in meeting traveling folks and hopefully surfing some couches in the Spring and Summer! On the short-term travel goal list: Vancouver, Montreal, and re-visit Minneapolis. Would love to see the Northwest US. In my current living situation, I do not have a couch to host, but would love to meet up with those visiting Chicago for coffee, beer, or lunch/dinner/dancing/picnicing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A moose grazing near the boundary waters, a black momma bear with her cub knock over a 16ft tall iron post of a bird feeder to eat the goods inside, hiked the Napali coast up to an enormous waterfall for cold delicious swimming, whales, seeing them in the distance and off a boat, and floating on my back off a beach in Kauai hearing them sing beneath the water, sang and partied with a jam packed Amtrak "sight seers lounge".
Teach, Learn, Share
Listen to your body. Dance.
