Overview
About Me
I'm a girl from Latvia that is exploring life right now. I'm not the typical kind of tourist, that's for sure - I often go into places other people don't even notice or are scared to actually enter. The things I find there are worthwhile to look at and think about where those things have been. If I had an opportunity to choose a couple of super powers, one of them would definitely be to see what things have experienced. I guess there's no need to mention that I'm pretty adventurous and willing to see things that surround me. Well basically, I'm a positive, always smiling adventure seeker.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just find staying in a hotel really boring, I like meeting new people, hearing their stories and sharing mine, also seeing what other cultures are like. I'm also pretty sure that the locals can show me the city in a compleatly different perspective than if I was in the city all alone, especially knowing that I often visit places for a couple of days only and don't have the time to explore completely.
Interests
I really like film photography, and I also do plane and rocket modelling. I find different stories about experiences very interesting. I love travelling and adventures. My adventures not always are planned, quite often they're spontaneous. History of the 20th century is also something that gets my attention easialy. I've also loved arts and music ever since I was a little kid.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I really enjoy different kinds of cover versions for commonly known songs, I like to see how creative people can get and how many different versions there can be for one song. I also love instrumental music a lot, I find it amazingly beautiful. Also reggae of course.
Movies: When I find the time to watch movies, I usually choose something that's based on a true story or documentaries, or psycological dramas, or something like that. Basically something that has a content that is worth thinking about afterwards and actually can give you useful knowledge about life.
Books: Unfortunately, I don't really have the time to read, but when I do then I most often choose something similar to the movies I watch, just in a book format.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I proved them wrong when they said I couldn't.
