ABOUT ME

I feel I have seen enough. I would like to see more, but it would have to come "along the way" while doing something worthy... I don't want to travel, I want to experience living in different places. I guess getting old makes you want to have a purpose. I like sports (skiing, swimming, mountaineering, rock-climbing, bridge but currently trying to learn surfing), good books, classical and some pop music. I am interested in politics and history. I believe in God.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's love that matters in life. To make a meaningful life is to serve others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been living in Melbourne for the last few years, but my housing conditions are dynamic. Unfortunately most of the time I am not able to host. Hopefully, that will change as I would like to meet some interesting people that have fallen off the grid. I don't think I will be surfing anytime soon, but who knows.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had awesome surfing experiences in Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Syria, Israel, Iran, India, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Just a few less lucky ones. Anyway - people have been so generous for me, that it inspired me to also be a better person.

Interests

I've so many interests, that there's nothing I'm really good at. I love the mountains and sports in general, swimming, learning languages, generally learning. I like adventures, I had just small ones during my travel, I hope I will get more...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Classical, musicals, some pop. generally piano music, classical, some pop as well. I like to sing but I’m not very good at it.

Films: Last King of Scotland, Bourne thrilogy, Four feathers, Touching the void, Truman Show, Gladiator, Russel Crowe movies, and others

Books: referring to the real world - history, politics, philosophy.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach... I don't know what one would want to learn from me... maths? Skiing or swimming? The languages I speak I suppose, or whatever you'd like.

Learn... I'd like to learn everything, especially languages and history. Interested in psychology and philosophy as well.

Share... we can talk about politics, history, economics, or anything.
