ABOUT ME

Grew up on an island in the Baltic Sea and no matter where I go and the places I see - that will remain my favorite place.

Have for the the main part of the last 4-5 years been away from Sweden for internships, studies, general backpacking and field research.
The last few years it has all been based on work though. I lived over two years in The Gambia enjoying the perks of West Africa. But am now based in Kigali, Rwanda - and loving it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have limited opportunities to host people as I am a bit restricted by living in an apartment belonging to my employer. But can at times make it work!

Would love to meet up for drinks, dinners or show people around my part of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have lately been running into people involved with CS and they all seem to have had pretty sweet experiences!

I also hosted a friend of a friend for ten days and really liked it (though the contact was not through CS).

Hiking, badminton, kayaking, traveling, meeting new people, listening to live music, going out to restaurants and clubs, visit museums, read, write, trying out new things that I often turn out to suck at (West African dance and taekwondo being two of them).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amazing thing seen: Senegalese man fixing our broken down land rover with a plastic bag on our way home from the jazz festival in St Louis.

Amazing thing done: Watched the stars half asleep on a mat next to our car in a tiny Malian village, no electricity, no annoying traffic sound and the company of a great friend and hundreds of mosquitoes.
