ABOUT ME

We are Sara and Fabio, 30 and 32. Living in Barcelona since 2012, but from Italy. We really enjoy meeting new people and exchanging our life experiences and knowledge. We love travelling and we really do it every time we can. Unfortunately, we cannot do it as much as we wish. Sara is passionate of other cultures and languages, Fabio has a keen interest in informatics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a joint profile because we live together and have used couchsurfing to travel together so far. We think it's nice people know who they'll meet from the very beginning. But we have two quite different personalities and we are pretty independent from each other. Most of all, when we are with other people we like to interact with them. So don't worry, if we we host you or we are your guests you won't run the risk of being the third wheel! :)

We used to host when we lived in Trento. Since we moved to Barcelona we haven't opened our house to surfers yet: that's because we host friends and family members very often.

When we host we are happy to give some advise on the city, possible excursions, restaurants etc. We like talking to our guests and if we have time we are happy to go out with them for dinner o a beer. But, as we absolutely don't force our guests to spend time together, we also want to feel free not to take our guests around if we don't have time or don't feel like doing it.
The same when we are hosted. Good if our host wants to share their knowledge on the city with us or go out for a walk together, but we are perfectly independent on our known and don't demand anything.

We are polite. We can bring our own blankets and towels, we don't use food in the kitchen that is not ours, we don't make noise. And we are clean. That something very important for us, both when we host and are hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted three people so far and found it very challenging (in a positive way) and interesting. We've been hosted twice and we had two really positive experiences!

Interests

Travelling, going out with friends, meeting new people, learning languages, watching tv shows/movies, walking,trekking in the mountains, going to the beach, running, skiing in the winter, theater.
