About Me
A total nerd!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've met and hosted some very nice and remarkable people via CS, which really is all about the interaction and cultural exchange for me. Being a member for over three years, my only regret is that I wish I'd known about it for a longer period of time.
My participation in CS is currently limited to hosting, but hoping to travel and couchsurf in the near future.
Interests
All things geek, really. Mainly movies, comic books, science-fiction, fantasy role playing, paranormal phenomena and so on. Open to all kinds of debates on life, the universe and everything. Bit of a philosophy weirdo.
Oh, and also soccer. Big fan of Fenerbahçe.
Music, Movies, and Books
I can't even begin to list all of them. Just ask me when you have the chance!
Total Doctor Who geek though. Heh.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being born.
Hopping around with kangaroos Down Under.
Visiting the torture museum in Sienna. Holy ****.
Going up the Michaelengelo Hill in Florence.
A childhood dream came true, seeing the absolutely amazing Sistine Chapel ceiling with my own two eyes.
Time I spent in Vatican. Kept thinking about that movie, "Euro Trip".
Paying a visit to Kafka's grave in Prague.
Wandering around the old town in Prague.
The whole of my stay in Prague, really. Amazing city.
Three days and three nights in Amsterdam, of which I have no recollection whatsoever.
Budapest nightlife. Nothing short of crazy.
Surviving traffic in Istanbul. God I hate that city. Great scenery though.
Hitch-hiking through Bulgaria. No idea how I pulled that one off.
Travelling Romanian country-side. Just wow. Love the eastern Europe.
Oh, and that one time when I came first in a poetry competition when I was in primary school. Highlight of my younger years. Still got the trophy at home somewhere.
So, yeah, lots to do before I'm done for good. Life itself is pretty amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
Life is all about the Experience for me.
The more I experience different people, places and cultures; the more I feel alive.
