About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be open to stepping into what drives your curiosity, especially if it scares you.

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly open person who flourishes with one on one convo while sometimes coming off as shy in group settings - but that feeling dissipates after a bit of time :)

I enjoy meeting people from around the world and learning about new cultures, understanding values and beliefs through other people's eyes. I find it both shows me how similar we all are and also how differently we can see things; which can enlighten and broaden our own perspective on life.

I have a lot of passions, they all fall under the umbrella of the arts, humanism, philosophy & psychology. This has done wonders for my personal growth however not so good for my 'career'. I've held jobs in the fashion industry, in a mosaic company as a ceramist and I'm currently working as a chef at a vegan restaurant.

I'd describe myself as a calm person who sucks at small talk and finds ease in talking about personal deep subjects that contain all the feels - along with broader existential type topics of the world.

In my free time you'll usually find me either reading or writing at a local cafe or in a park - though my demeanor is calm I also make a great side-kick for spontaneous adventures I love those!

PHILOSOPHY

"The mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master" Robin Sharma

Though I may not always get it right, I try to walk through this life with as much empathy and heart as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly to push my personal boundaries and meet people from all over :) We have many layers to our personalities and I'm always curious about the time it can take myself and the other to move through each layer. This is not to say that every interaction with another should be a deep one, I believe all types of connections are valuable. Lightness is just as important as depth :)

Interests

Yoga, spirituality, alternative way of life, dance and being in nature!
I strive to live an overall healthy holistic lifestyle - Im also vegan.
