About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be positive. Be present.
ABOUT ME
I'm a glass-half-full kind of gal. I can get by with a good tune, some fresh air and a camera. I'm 24, and just quit my job, packed my bag and headed for Seattle from Florida. I'm currently staying with my sister until I get on my feet here, but I'm loving it so far! I'd love to meet people and discover the city more.
I like running, kayaking, road trips, singin' along, going out, photography, new music, shows, trying new foods, and just playing in general.
I love traveling. There is seriously nothing better than getting lost in a new city, then making it your own. I'm very outgoing, and I love meeting new people. Let's grab a drink!
PHILOSOPHY
I can't do all the good the world needs, but the world needs all the good I can do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Started on a trip to Europe - met and made friends as I went. I'm still so new to this, but I'd love to participate more and continue meeting awesome people and discovering new places. Once I'm settled here in Seattle, I'd love to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've had some awesome times, from singing songs to cooking really great meals. Everything has been great so far.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a sap for feel-good films.
I love hearing new music. You name it - I'm sure I can find something I'll enjoy, especially if I can sing (or dance!) along. I'm into a little bit of everything - alternative, indie, indie dance, reggae, folk, ...I'm awful with genres. I'm currently addicted to Miike Snow, Animal.
Two books that I recently read that really stuck out to me are Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer, and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. I love new book suggestions, both fiction and non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking Europe was one of the most exciting things I've ever done. There's a weird rush you get when you don't know where you're going to be tomorrow, what you're going to eat, or who you're going to meet. It's an off-the-grid adrenaline, and empowering to feel like you can do anything you want at any second.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning quirky things about new places and people - opinions, politics, history, places to go and see, food to try, things to do, and other general and obscure thoughts.
I've always wanted to learn French (I've studied it a bit), play guitar, and make my own clothes. I also have a Canon 40D camera that I desperately need to learn to use. Oh, & I'm currently learning to play the ukulele. Love it.
