About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live to experience.

ABOUT ME

Traveling means a lot to me. It's a way to experience the world, explore other cultures, ways of living, meet with different people, listen to their stories, reflect, and find peace in myself.

I have traveled a lot and plan to do so for the rest of my life. There are just too many wonders to see, listen and feel. I love travelling for it enables me to be in the moment and the place.

I first started couchsurfing in 2009, and I LOVE it! The fun part of traveling is to meet local people, and couchsurfing is the right way to do it:) I had a good time with a my hosts in Oxford, Paris, Heidelberg, Copenhagen, etc. I love the spirit of sharing and trust in this community. There are still a lot of places that I haven't been to but want to go, and I hope I can experience them through couchsurfing.

I haven't hosted anyone yet, because I've always lived in a dorm. Starting this fall, I will be living in a house and hopefully I can start hosting people!

PHILOSOPHY

Live, love and laugh :D
I didn't choose to come to this world. But while I'm here, I'd better make my life something before I leave.
Life is way too short for worrying about things that are not important at all. So I decide to embrace things i really like and let every moment shine!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's kinda mixed. I listen to classical music randomly; Chopin and Bach are my favorites. Folk, pop, vals, tango, crossover, indie all make me feel comfortable.

I enjoy going to the book store and collecting books. But it's a shame that I haven't seriously read a great book in the past few months. I'm trying to resist Internet and go back to the simple joy of reading. Maybe I should just stop typing my ambition and open a book right away...

I do like movies, and it has a lot to do with the music in a movie. My favorite OSTs include Le Peuple Migrateur, Once, The Tango Lesson, The Legend of 1900 (amazing piano!), Frida, etc, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

tried bungee jumping when I was 15... 200ft above a lake...to be continued
