*Update March 2024: I have 2 senior cat brothers now and no new bunk bed yet. Which leaves you with 2 options: sleeping on the couch in the living room with 2 very cuddly cats that also don't sleep a lot (not recommendable) or share the room with me and sleep on a separate mattress on the floor*

Hey guys, I'm Sandra from Dortmund, Germany, the crazy cat lady you've been warned about 😊✌🏽

When traveling and living abroad, I always enjoy meeting new people and seeing their culture through their eyes. To me, that's the best way to get to know a country and it's people.💜

I started my Couchsurfing journey as a surfer when working abroad as a volunteer. Surprise: I quickly fell in love with the caring, trusting, open-minded Couchsurfing community. Now, after having finished my studies, I chose Dortmund as my permanent home and started to work - which leaves me with a little less time to travel, so I decided to also become a host and keep the Couchsurfing spirit alive.✨ l absolutely love having people over and talk about whatever. :)

Mi casa es tu casa. My couch shall be your couch. I can also offer an extra mattress that fits 1 person and an inflatable mattress for 2 persons.

I'm fluent in German, English, Spanish (pero solo hablo el tigueraje dominicano manin ya tu sabe) and there should also be some French vocab left since I studied in Lille for one semester.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to get to know inspiring people and places. Also, the "unknown" doesn't scare me. Instead, every single time, I am looking forward to meeting new people, hearing their stories and eventually finding a connection. ✨ :)
