ABOUT ME

I am a child of globalization, born in Bosnia, lived in Slovenia, Bosnia and Serbia until I was 9. Since then I have had the pleasure to breathe the fresh air of Denmark, where I was "not born" but raised.

I would call my self multi-cultural, with the balkan fire in my heart and the Danish mellowness and informality in my soul.

I have traveled and seen a lot of countries, but for some reason I have always felt that there was something missing, and have come to the conclusion that meeting and learning local people and their way of living was that one thing.
I don't take myself seriously and love joking around, but can also engage in deep and serious conversations.

I like to expand my knowledge in many areas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host people and share life stories, engage in conversations about small and big things in life.
I also like concerts, the movies or just hanging out at home playing games - and don't mind to host a group, the more the merrier :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

By now, I have had a pleasure to meet up with some very interesting people from around the world - and get them to know a bit, during the short time you spend together. All of my meetups have been very approachable and open, which makes me want to meet up, with even more exciting personalities, listen to their stories, and share mine. :)

Interests

Well, a lot of things, as you can see in my photos i like to be active in my spare time and on my travels.
I have been a volleyball coach for a number of years, and played myself, both beach and regular volley.
Right now i have found a passion in Acroyoga.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Prestige, Sin City, City Of God, Shame, Fight club, The Cube to name a few movies. I am also sucker for old Noir movies and books.
One of my favorite writers at the moment is Walter Mosley, and his Leonid McGill series, set in a noir setting in New York.

Musically i listen to a lot of music pop, hip hop, drum and base, EDM, but also a lot of ethnic music, besides the music from my home country. When i listen to radio i always tune in on BBC Radio1Extra, love this station, and the sound of British spoken English.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like I have experienced a lot of amazing things during my travels, most recently i experienced USA with my sister, driving across from Key West - San Francisco, and in the same year going to Burning Man for the first time!
