ABOUT ME

I'm stoked - there is a 99.9% possibility that I'll be teaching next year in a blooming Latin program just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. For me that means experience and opportunity - for the couch surfing, that means couches and floor spaces are soon to come.

Oh, and I'm a blitzfrieder - in high minded terms, someone who wants to transfer excess to the lack. In this case, that means making use of the excess space in my apartment to be for travelers and visitors to Birmingham.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a huge fan of Birmingham (and what it has the potential to become). So, if anyone is in town, I'd love to recommend great places to eat, drink, sightsee or what ever else. I'm also really in to historic buildings and would relish the opportunity to work up a walking to of historic downtown B'ham.
When I get back from traveling this summer, I will have a couch to offer. I'll have several roommates in the house where i'll be staying in the Southside. Then, once fall and school starts up, I hope to offer more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have yet to surf, but I'm looking forward to trying it out this summer in west/eastern Europe.
